Getting started
- Start with clean, dry skin, without lotions or oils
- Sit or stand 6–12 inches from the area you're focusing on
- Begin farther away and for less time, then build up as you get used to it
Typical session
- 10–20 minutes per area
- No more than 2–3 areas per day
- 3–5 times a week is the manufacturer's suggested routine
Check with your clinician first if you
- Take light-sensitizing medications, such as tretinoin, tetracycline or digoxin
- Have hyperpigmentation concerns (the manufacturer suggests red only on those areas)
- Are planning to use it with a child
The light is very bright. Close your eyes or wear goggles during sessions.
Care
Cleaning and storage
- Power off and unplug the panel before cleaning
- Wipe the frame with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with water; never spray the panel directly
- Take care around the vents, LED openings and ports so no moisture gets in
- Don't use alcohol or chemical cleaners on the LED lenses
- Store in a clean, dry place between 32 and 104 °F, below 50% humidity

Complimentary tracked, insured shipping within the contiguous U.S. The panel ships directly from Ice Dragon's U.S. warehouse by FedEx, in one box. Orders are processed in 1–3 business days, then delivery typically takes 5–7 business days. The carrier may call to arrange a signature. We can't ship to P.O. boxes.
Returns
Request a return within 30 days of delivery. Red light devices must be unopened and in their original sealed packaging. Please report damage within 10 days of delivery, with photos. Full return policy
Warranty
A 1-year limited manufacturer warranty covers manufacturing faults, including electrical failure. It excludes accidental damage, wear and tear, and improper use.

Questions, answered
Is this a full-body panel?
It's sized for one area at a time, such as the face, chest, back or legs. For head-to-legs coverage in a single session, the RH3600 or SL5000 is a better fit. See Compare above.
How far should I sit from the panel?
The manufacturer suggests 6–12 inches. Start farther away and for shorter sessions, then move closer as you get used to it.
How long is a session?
The manufacturer's guidance is 10–20 minutes per area, up to 2–3 areas a day, 3–5 times a week.
Can it be used on the face?
Yes. The light is very bright, so close your eyes or wear goggles, and avoid holding your face very close to the panel for long periods.
Can it stand on its own, or does it need to be hung?
Either. It can stand upright on its own beside a bed, sofa or desk, or be hung. It is not sold with our floor stands.
Why do some LEDs look dim?
That's the near-infrared light. The eye can't see 850 nm light, so those chips can look dim or off while they're working.
Does it make noise?
Four rear fans keep the panel cool, so you'll hear a light fan sound while it runs. Keep the back of the panel clear.
What kind of outlet does it need?
A standard grounded household outlet. The panel accepts 85–265 V, and a surge protector is recommended.
Can I wear clothes during a session?
Yes, as long as the area you're focusing on is uncovered.
What if it arrives damaged?
