Ice Dragon Cold Plunge Tub Pro with 1 HP Smart Water Chiller

Longevity by Design™

Why a plunge at home

The hardest part of cold exposure is rarely the cold. It is the setup: buying ice, filling a tub, cleaning up afterward. A dedicated plunge with filtration and temperature control means the water is waiting when you are ready.

The Research Library

What the research shows.

People bring cold plunging home to recover faster, feel less sore, reset from stress and build resilience. Here is what a regular plunge may support, with links to the research for those who want to dig deeper.

How it works

Cold water tightens blood vessels and lowers tissue temperature, triggering a quick burst of alertness followed by the body's calming, rest-and-recover response. How much benefit you get depends on the dose: temperature, time, depth and timing.

RECOVER

What active patrons feel first

REGULATE

How the body shifts from stress toward recovery

Stress reset & resilience

Feeling stressed, overstimulated or constantly “on”?

A regular plunge may support stress regulation and help you build resilience to everyday pressure.

Metabolic adaptation & cold resilience

Want to train your body to adapt, not just recover?

Early research links a regular cold habit with your body's natural ability to generate heat and adapt to cold.

Cold is a dose

Colder and longer are not automatically better.

Temperature × Duration × Immersion depth × Timing × Goal

The right use of cold depends on your goal, your tolerance, when you plunge and how you train. We apply the same evidence-informed approach to dosing across every modality we offer.

What we hear most

The questions that come before the purchase.

Every client arrives with a few honest hesitations. Here is how we address them.

01

“Will I actually use it?”

Cold exposure only adds value when it becomes part of your routine. We help you choose a setup that makes regular use realistic—not another piece of equipment you stop using.

02

“How much maintenance is this going to take?”

Water care, filtration and cleaning requirements vary significantly between systems. We highlight those differences so you know what ownership looks like before you buy.

03

“Will this work in my space—and my climate?”

Indoor vs. outdoor placement, footprint, drainage, electrical requirements and cold-weather operation all matter. We help you understand what each system requires before it arrives.

04

“Am I paying for features I actually need?”

From simple plunge tubs to self-chilling, filtered systems, more expensive isn't automatically better for every home. We help you understand which features improve the experience—and which may not matter for you.

Choose by goal

Start with what you want it to do for you.

A plunge for a morning reset is a different purchase from one for training recovery or contrast therapy. Begin with your goal.

Before you buy

Common questions.

How cold does my plunge actually need to be?

Colder isn’t necessarily better. The goal is a temperature you can use consistently, with the ability to adjust as your experience and tolerance develop.

What’s the difference between a $500 plunge and a $5,000 plunge?

Price reflects much more than the tub. Chiller performance, insulation, filtration, sanitation, construction, noise, aesthetics, warranty, and ease of ownership can vary considerably.

How much maintenance does a cold plunge actually require?

The right filtration and sanitation system can make ownership significantly easier, but every plunge requires some water care. We help you understand those requirements before you choose.

Is cold exposure right for me?

If you have a heart condition, high blood pressure or are pregnant, speak with your healthcare provider before using a plunge.
