Set up in minutes

Using & care
Simple to run, easy to maintain
Every session
- Ice Dragon suggests 2 to 5 minutes per session, and 1 to 3 minutes when you're new
- Start at milder temperatures and build up gradually
- Breathe slowly and steadily, keeping your head above water
Water care
- With the filter and ozone running, Ice Dragon suggests changing the water every 2 to 4 weeks
- Replace the filter about once a month
- Keep the tub covered between sessions
Timing
- Many people prefer morning sessions
- If muscle growth is your goal, keep cold sessions at least 6 hours away from strength training
- Consistency matters more than duration
Cold water is a strong stressor for the heart and lungs. If you have heart disease, an arrhythmia, high or low blood pressure, circulation problems, diabetes or another medical condition, take medication, or are pregnant, check with your clinician first. Never plunge alone or after alcohol, and get out right away if you feel weak, dizzy or unable to control your hands and limbs. Your core temperature can keep dropping after you get out, so warm up gradually. Children should only use it with close adult supervision.

Returns

Do I need ice?
No. The 1.5 HP chiller cools the water to as low as 36°F and holds it there, so there's no ice to buy or haul.
How long does it take to get cold?
From 72°F to 36°F takes about 3 to 4 hours, according to Ice Dragon, with about 86°F room temperature and standard water volumes. Larger amounts of water and warmer rooms take longer. Once there, it holds your temperature automatically.
Can it also heat the water?
Yes, up to 104°F, so you can use it for a warm soak too.
Can it go outdoors?
Yes. The chiller is IPX4 weather resistant and rated for rooms up to 120°F. The tub has a UV-resistant exterior. Set everything on a level surface.
Do I need an electrician or a plumber?
No. The chiller plugs into a standard 110 V outlet, and the hoses connect by hand. You fill the tub with a garden hose.
