Our largest far infrared cabin, in Canadian Hemlock, with 23 Near Zero EMF carbon heaters and eight portable benches. Lift the benches out and it becomes a warm studio for yoga and stretching, and it is designed to be wheelchair accessible.
Overview
Twenty-three PureTech™ carbon heaters, including floor heaters, surround you with far infrared heat at a comfortable air temperature, most often set between 118°F and 122°F. Golden Designs rates them under 3 mG of EMF at about 2 inches.
Eight portable benches seat up to eight adults. Lift them out and the 82 × 70 in floor becomes a warm studio for yoga and stretching. Golden Designs designed the Catalonia to be wheelchair accessible.
A touchscreen sets heat, time and lights. The ceiling has galaxy star color lighting and a reading light, with built-in speakers, Bluetooth, FM radio and an auxiliary input.

Yes. The Catalonia needs one dedicated 240 V, 30 A circuit and receptacle, installed by a licensed electrician.
Most people enjoy it at 118–122°F. It reaches 115–120°F in about 25–30 minutes from a room above 70°F, and can heat up to 140°F. Infrared warms you directly, so it feels comfortable at a lower air temperature than a traditional sauna.
Yes. The eight benches are portable, so you can lift them out for an open 82 × 70 in floor. If you use a yoga mat, leave the floor heater cord unplugged.
